Pick a roll longer than your dog's muzzle, and take the last small end away before it can be swallowed. Every Pet Factory chew is meant for intermittent use under supervision.

Eight inches is long enough that a medium dog has to work it from the side with the back teeth, which is where the scraping does the most good, and thick enough that it lasts more than a few minutes. Basted flavors soak only into the surface, so the roll gets plainer as it softens.
Rolls are the simplest shape Pet Factory makes: a single sheet of hide wound tight. They soften evenly, which makes them a calm, steady chew for dogs that tear knotted ends off too fast.

We have bought several bags of these. I finally put them on subscription. We have a 15 pound dog who loves them. Each lasts him a couple days and he has probably one in every room so that he can be happy wherever he is. These stay rolled well and he does not end up with broken pieces he is just swallowing. They are also a good price compared to other products.

My 2 dogs love these for an occasional treat/mental stimulation. The flavoring gets on everything, but it seems to wipe off pretty easily. I don't recommend letting a dog chew it on anything light-colored. Also, they can be easily swallowed so do not leave your pet unattended with these treats.
